Whilst I sit here fighting between excitement and sadness that I turn the big 30 this year, it got me thinking about how many celebrations have been missed over the past year. We all love a party, or at least most of us do! Being my last year of my 20’s I imagined I would of done so much this past year before seeing in my 30s. Instead I have been stuck indoors slowly watching the year go by. It’s not all been negative though, I have worked on myself in ways I never would have if this past year hadn't happened, through self love and figuring out what is important in my life, how to slow down, relax and enjoy the simple things. But I’m ready for a party now!! After so many celebrations from birthdays, weddings, baby showers, engagements and many more missed this year, I think I speak for many when I say post lockdown will be a time for one big celebration. I can already imagine it, being surrounded by more than 6 loved ones, the hugs, the dancing the laughter, the tears. It’s inevitable there will be plenty of celebrations going on once they are allowed, which helped me to decided what my next blog should be about.
